Tools

The CLIMAREST project has developed and tested a variety of digital tools applicable to marine restoration projects. The development of these tools has considered two emerging dimensions of importance in global restoration – upscaling and integration. The result of this is a variety of tools that can be integrated into the implementation of projects as well as accessible to local, national, and regional decision-making bodies for more efficient upscaling.

These tools will draw upon marine data from Blue-Cloud, a platform to create a federated ecosystem for Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable (FAIR), and open data in marine sciences. This platform provides access to multidisciplinary datasets, analytical services, and computing facilities. The available data provides input from across the European continent, creating diverse and well-rounded datasets.
