Assessment

The assessment phase is important to create an overview of multiple factors that will be important to your restoration project. This includes ecological, cultural, and economic factors that can help to explain the degradation of the ecosystem. Understanding the factors will be crucial in making an effective restoration plan that targets all causes for the ecosystem degradation at hand.  While you may have a lot of knowledge of the area, it is very important to work and engage with a comprehensive selection of stakeholders. 1
